Hasn't been tried for amlodipine as far as I know, at least not in any formal study. Mechanism for CCB not as well understood as with phenytoin (even though that is far from complete). Still interesting, and might be worth trying in someone if unable to discontinue amlodipine for whatever reason.

I have a couple NDI patients with extreme polyuria despite maximal therapy, their bladders get huge and dysfunctional. I follow their bladder ultrasounds routinely to monitor hydroureteronephrosis and postvoid residuals, remind them of bladder hygiene if worsening. Seems to help if they stick to it
