Maybe Vox tested this way if he can contain Lucifer? Usually breaking a shield doesn't harm a sinner, but if they're attached to the shield and breaking it would hurt them, his limit would set in.

This makes me think... If a sinner connects their attack / shield to themselves in a way that breaking or deflecting it would hurt them, then Lucifer would be helpless even when he's attacked. He could get trapped and can't even break out.

I always get anxious too when hints even vaguely point into a possible death scenario 😭 but Viv loves Lucifer so much, I doubt she'll kill him off. Hurt yes, but not kill.

The song is more a love song referencing a metaphorical end of the world and how they'd spend it with each other because they love each other so much. I think the song refers to the whole eden thing because their world ended with their banishment to hell, but they still clung to their love.
