Favourites from 2025 continued

I know that I shared this just last month, but it is a favourite for the year asit epitomises living in a small village in the French Alps in November.

I'm into my favourite pictures of the year, and I like this because it is the magnificent Dru with lovely contrasting colours in the trees.

Autumn colour in the village

One of the more sturdy bridges that make walking easier in the valley.

Sometimes, finding a cascade like this means a long walk. This one is next to the path just outside the village.

The Alpine Ibex is always a welcome sight on a walk.

The Aiguilles du Chamonix are big, dramatic, and awe-inspiring.
