I never really liked this week for a long time, but then I realized I feel like I have to hide my recovery from people because so few understand. Please take a moment to educate yourselves. It’s not just about pretty thin girls who want attention.

Amusing that when I enter the US I get asked if I have fresh fruits and vegetables. It’s only coming into Canada they ask about drugs and firearms … but yes, Canada is clearly the problem. Augh.

Second comment (sorry …) spreadsheets are the way to go, I keep track of my smaller bookkeeping clients that way. Larger ones I use Sage. Also I managed to save one client 10k+ from what he tried to do, so bookkeepers are worth their weight in gold if you can find a good one :)

I’m not an indie journalist but I am a tax accountant (Canadian too haha) feel free to reach out with any questions. It can definitely be overwhelming, but once you figure out where the T’s to cross and I’s to dot are it’s much more straightforward!
