Kinda late, yeah I agree. Not only was the literal ass translation, but also the atrocious audio mixing through the whole song, Soap vocals for example have some distorted and reverb effects for some reason and it sounds awful...

The voice actors for the dub, quite frankly, deserved far better. They were all pretty outstanding choices and from what I heard, did the best job they could. My heart goes out to them. I can only speak for myself, but I still consider the cast part of the II family <3

While I'm glad that the crew realized the state of the dub, I'm a bit worried they might not want to give it another shot now.

The idea of dubbing II (or BFDI) in other languages is great, there's a reason you see fans doing it! It really is just the wrong hands that lead to a really bad execution.

As an addendum to that last point, here's a cover one of the VAs on the show arranged on their own channel. Like...it's 1000 times better and SHOULD have been what the cast was given to sing.

Yes, I'm aware the dub itself was notoriously dreadful, but it didn't have a damn thing to do with the VAs. They all did the best they could.

I could hear them STRUGGLING to sing that direct-ass translation of Keep On Cleaning. They were NOT the problem.

Hey Jazzy, as a Mexican fan here, I respect your opinion. However I don't agree at all, the dub itself had REALLY notorious problems like audio quality, bad lipsync on some characters, etc.

VA Charly Wolfy has stated that "I enjoy all the characters I play in the series. Too bad it's no longer being recorded".

VA JuliFoxDrAw later said that losing the project was an "eye-opener" for Unilingo and they are gonna try to put more effort into projects.
