Once again, I must applaud Gregor's artistic eye.

Well... I like all the little transitional areas, and the underappreciated bits.

We are already murdering children, women, and other civilians. Truly shameful and disgusting. Not surprising, though.

Singing is really good for you. I love to sing. I mostly sing to our pets, but I've also recorded many songs over the years. (No blues, though.) Mostly, I sing made-up songs to our pets.

The good thing is that you don't need anyone's approval. The great thing is that your parents seem to understand who you are, and respect your mind and heart. Whatever discomfort or confusion they may have, I suspect that their love for you will remain steady.

As much as I appreciate your photos (and Gregor's & Jessica's) I most value your willingness to engage deeply, and even embrace vulnerability. You've set the bar very high, and Jessica has followed suit. I'm glad you're finally less stressed by the demands of school, and can be a bit more rested.

Ooh! Grace Slick is an icon. Btw I played bass in a psychedelic prog band called Blue Dot. We had a few fans, for a minute. I wrote about half of the songs.

There's also a thing called E Prime, a form of English that removes all forms of the verb 'to be.' The purpose is to train the mind to not apply "isness" to things, and instead take ownership of our thoughts and feelings. It is another way to undermine certainty. I don't consistently use E Prime.

I try to keep my ego in check. I have a tendency toward snark, which can sometimes be perceived as contrary. I'm almost always trying to be funny, but it doesn't always land that way. There's an old addage: Certainty is the death of thought. I try to embrace uncertainty, and stay curious. --->
