Big Update this Friday!!

• Added @creaturefeature.bsky.social ‬ to the Toy Box!

• Added a badges on toy cards to better indicate what sizes are available for each product!

• You can now filter by Toy Features!

• A pass was done on tags. Hopefully they are help you find what you really want!

Brief Update: Fixed a few issues with size data and some other availability information. There are a few products on Drake's Shop that don't have size info, so that's why it's blank. Hopefully I can get it from them to add to next week's update.

Friday means another update to the Toy Box!

This week: Drake's Shop has been added (drakeshop.net/en), further expanding the geography of the site to Russia now!

Next week is looking to be a big update to both the index and for new / improved search features - Look forward to that!

As a customer, I want to see reviews, and I specifically want to see reviews from diverse perspectives. AMAB reviews of Dildos for example, are really hard to come by.

As a not-really-creator-but-kinda-sorta, I'm ecstatic when shops reach out to me and I am thrilled to try and work with them!

We got some backend code cleanup done as well, but also have prepped for some forward-looking features like better size indicators and toy features search.

I'm gonna give a shoutout to primary colors being a mix of blue/purple with a gradient to white.

It makes for a very striking look!

This is something I've been thinking about a lot!

I think the next update will include a slider for 'usable length' on penetrable and there is a tag for minis, but it's not a super good system right now. I definitely want to do better here before too long.

When it comes to categories, I think the end goal is to expand this further yet, at least to Ovis and 'Accessories' at some point (I don't currently index things like wereable straps or suction cups, but I'm going to do that in the future).

Also included: Minor glow ups and layout fixes + Minor load-time optimizations.

Importantly, it expands the geographic reach of the Toy Box to China - We want to cover as much as the global as we can to make finding a toy with reasonable shipping possible, no matter where you are located!

I love admiring the creative photography of vendors. There have been a few in the past I've mentioned, but @master4fancy.bsky.social has exceptionally beautiful product photos. I'm really excited to add them to the Toy Box - They'll be there with two others on Friday!

A Small update to the site: Fixed an issue where Searching for tags and product names didn't work the first time. Search should be behaving appropriately now.

We are also prepping to include 4 new vendors for the content update this Friday. Looking forward to adding more to the Toy Box!

Actually, just thinking about this, I'm probably just going to rename 'Anthro' to 'Humanoid' - I think it just ends up being more descriptive of the product segment. 'Anthro' is casting way too wide of a net.

Yeah! Abstract designs in particular are very challenging and was kind of the genesis of the 'other' category. I've added design features as tags that you can search, e.g. 'knot', but I'm not super happy with this either. 'Humanoid' I've put into the 'Anthro' category but wouldn't mind revisiting.

I'm actually actively looking for feedback on Species sorting as well. Right now, it's very shape-forward and 'vibes', but if there are adjustments on Species you'd like to see, or if you would classify things differently, I'd love to hear about it!

I really didn't think I'd ever want a fantasy dildo as a piece of art to be displayed, but... I kinda want one of these as an art piece to be displayed :P.

Alright, crisis has been adverted. The badge is no longer floating in places where it doesn't belong. Surely, there will be no other problems, ever!

We just shipped a pretty big update! Affiliate Badges on products, new layout refinements, some glow ups on the vendor list and product page, and of course new vendors have been added!

@wyvernsvault.bsky.social, @masterworkt.bsky.social and @nyoon.com have all been added to the Toy Box!

I'm super glad you love it! I hope it becomes the default way of discovering the huge variety of fantasy toys out there, and we are constantly adding new vendors and products to the Index!

It's not live yet, but we finished adding a clearer indicator of which products have affiliate links attached to them for testing. A couple in this screenshot have badges attached to them in the corner - It'll be live (along with a couple new vendors in this example) on Friday! @3dfrost.bsky.social

Search 'knot' and it'll return a list of 88 dildos from a dozen+ vendors that you can look through in one place!

I'll make that happen here and I'll ship it with the next update on the 27th. I think I can get a small graphic turned around in that time and make some modifications to the data templates to make it all work!

I'd probably be a new graphic I'd have made, but that's maybe the idea here that can serve as a mark, but also still conform to the rather restricted layout limitations.

I figure for clarity, I can also put some mouse over text on that, and also explain it in the Vendors page.

I'm looking at the template right now. It'd be pretty easy to add something to the desktop version. My idea here for the mobile version is probably something like a badge in the top left of the image - It's not too disruptive, it can fit in the template. Something like this idea:

I actually have no objection to trying to fit something like in the product listings themselves, maybe like a badge on the product that marks is as a product w/ an affiliate link. I'd have to fit that into the template somehow, which might be tough on mobile, but I can take a swing at it here. [2/2]

Yeah! I have the affiliate link disclosure on the 'Vendor' page now, where it's just a table describing which vendors have affiliates and what the kick back for us is. [1/2]
