My set up for pfb is so barebones tonight, 2 amps, one guitar and like 4 pedals, yet my car is packed because I’m playing with my other band too, had a drum kit, synths, powered pa speaker for a monitor etc

Watching the rock hall ceremony and losing my mind when Salt N Peppa’s producer did the “all the fly ladies” call out cuz years ago on tour Karla and I listened to a SNP remix cd over and over and that call out has become and inside joke for us. Plus the music fucking slays.

Instead of getting mad at the annoying young couple who were clearly high as fuck during agriculture/boris last night, I thought to myself, I miss the careless feeling of drugs while loud music is blasting but I’m so glad that it’s not my life anymore.

Yeah I did look up the set list and it looks great, it seems they are alternating flood and Feedbacker each night as encores

They might do more 🤷🏼‍♂️ but I think them sticking to the home base of Philadelphia and Halloween is making it maybe just one big event

Well I won my election and I’m now an executive board member as well as a trustee of my union hall.

Was well worth it to come into work tired as fuck today, got paid double time to sleep in my car until almost 1pm because we were on standby

The alarm clock going off 4 hours after I get home playing a showing hurts a lot more into my 40s. How the fuck did I do this when I used to drink?

Leaving the house at 445am and still not home from work has me thinking things like “wonder if the cats get bummed when I’m not home at my usual time cuz they wanna listen to some records but they don’t know how to put them on?”

PA’s liquor laws had me feeling like a loser mid afternoon cuz I had to go pay for the single tall boy for my beer cheese separately from the rest of my groceries.

Have a couple days off between jobs and I slept in until 6am today. I’m so pissed.

Apprentice came in late still fucked up from last night, we told go hang out in the corner of the scaffold and don’t get in our way. Like listen the two of us are alcoholics in recovery you’re not gonna work through this, just make it worse for us, chill out for a bit.

Ran era specific pedals in front of it and then out to a powered speaker. Though this isn’t my og dl10 that got destroyed back in 02 or 03 at a show.

Listened to some 4 track recordings I made when I was 17 this morning, loved the sound of the “clean” direct guitars, started searching out the recent pedals that do the channel strip and remembered I grabbed this amp simulator earlier this year that does that sound.

Been enjoying gear lately for the first time in forever. Just trying out different combinations of things I own and actively looking at new stuff
