Unrelated to my rant, I beat time stranger and it is easily my game of the year, 10/10. Loved it, and really want to play more of it soon.

I need to stop forcing myself to hammer the tedious stuff out and try and break it up with some fun stuff. It might not be as efficient but if I'm on a project by myself, it's not like anyone else can be upset with me.

Yes this is related to something I'm doing in RPGMaker, how'd you know?

But then by the time I finish the tedious thing, I don't have the energy or want to focus on the fun thing, and when I come back I'll either realize the tedious thing needs fixing or I'll have lost my place.

Something I've realized about myself that is going to take some practice to overcome, is that often I'll want to work on a project, and I'll force myself to try and get the most tedious things done. So I'll do something for hours that I'm not really enjoying, and tell myself I'll enjoy what's next.
