Comparing then to now makes me wonder why violence and negativity was so much "easier" to write about.

These days I'm all fact and way less violent. I'm more aware of what I'm put'n out into the world. The fun is still there but now there's more effort in the writing process, which unfortunately takes me longer.

Listen'n to some of my old verses back when I was in a group... I was so much more lyrically free. I said whatever, fact and/or fiction, and it just flow'd. Most of all it was effortlessly fun.
