One of my favorite decisions defenses make after timeouts is to go zone to mess up opponent ATOs. Dubs go to their tandem 2-3 zone here and whatever the Bulls were planning in the huddle was nullified.

Watch Jimmy directing things on the floor after realizing he has position against Cobi White. Tells Post to lift up to receive the pass. Post with a well-placed lob to Jimmy for the bucket.

Dubs being able to resort to a Spencer-Post high ball screen in late clock situations has been a luxury, especially with Post being able to pop out and no one on the Bulls veering back/rotating toward him.

Again, connected defense and knowing your coverages. It's a 1-4 switch with Post in drop coverage. Bulls have a tough time getting something in the half court.

Double drag shallow with Buddy and Post as screeners and Jimmy handling the ball to start the half. Vuc forced into the action and fouls Jimmy on the drive.

A complete first half in terms of offense and defense. Take note that most of their offense has come in transition (166.7 points per 100 transition plays, 87th percentile), a testament to how solid their defense has been.

Buddy help defense + Jimmy paint touch leading to a Podz three. Defense leading to offense.

Small detail but Post guarding Collins and being aware that you can sag off of Collins when he has the ball (defensive 3 seconds rule not applying here) allows him to virtually seal off the paint.

Look at how connected this defense has been

Dating back to last game, Gui has been such an excellent in-between playmaker: on the short roll, attacking off the catch, and cutting toward the paint to act as the release valve.

Just something different about how the ball moves with this combination on the floor. There's moving the ball without purpose (i.e., overpassing) and then there's *this*

Important to the Warriors' offense to keep the ball and players moving. Big reason why Pat is getting minutes is because he internalizes that mantra while maintaining steadiness and calm with his ball handling. Breaks the paint, Bulls defense collapses inward, Buddy open up top.

This is the luxury of Quinten Post: running a pindown for your 7-foot stretch five. Vuc hanging back in the paint, Buddy takes his man to unclog the side, Richard setting the pin on Vuc, Post drills the shot.

Warriors (12-12) are taking on the Bulls (9-13) tonight.
