Our current opposition leader has ties to the USA regime. That is a good enough reason for me to make it a requirement for him to get it.

All other party leaders have top security clearance. Not crazy at all in the geopolitical time that we live in. Foreign interference is a major concern and without top level security clearance he can not be briefed. He wants to lead Canada therefore he needs to get the clearance, if he can pass it.
