Panel 2: Laurel and Kirk eagerly grab and snap for the cookies, and Juniper yells, "BUT-- they still need to cool!" Panel 3: Juniper wags her finger and says "I baked in a spell that will show me if you eat them too early." Laurel and Kirk are definitely listening as they wait in the corner. Panel 4: Laurel and Kirk have magic dunce caps that read "Rude" and "Doesn't Listen". Laurel says "Worth it." and Kirk agrees with a "Yeah."

Hot cookies + cold milk = life. You gotta fight me off the second you pull that baking sheet from the oven. >:D

Panel 3: Kirk looks even more disappointed, his ears folded back and tail low. "Good game." Panel 4: Laurel cradles Kirk, who looks distraught. She says, "Hey, you're a winner to me." Kirk pouts and says "Not the same."

When you go 0-3 at locals. 😩 At least you still get a pity pack, right?

Panel 1: Laurel is holding her Creaturepedia book from the previous comic strip, looking unsettled. She asks Bean, her goblin animal rescuer buddy, "Bean, how can I ward off Chiapoko?" Bean raises an eyebrow and says, "Ward off? I'm fostering one right now." Panel 2: Bean brings out a Chiapoko, a 3-eyed dog-like creature. "That Creaturepedia is outdated. Chiapoko are really sweet.  Panel 3: Bean continues speaking while Laurel hesitantly reaches out to the Chiapoko. "They can smell nightmares, and use reflective eyes to scare them off." Panel 4: Laurel's fear has melted away, and she gives the Chiapoko a hug. "I'm sorry I thought those things about you, baby."

Wow, it's almost like knowledge helps you overcome fear or something.

Panel 2: Laurel and Juniper stop and look at the same statue, but it's now winter. The statue's hair is frozen, and there are patches of snow on the ground. Laurel and Juniper are wearing warmer clothes. Panel 3: It's a rainy day at the same statue. Laurel runs ahead, unprepared for the weather. Juniper, wearing a coat and carrying an umbrella, runs behind her and tries to give cover. Panel 4: It's spring. Laurel and Juniper stop and look at the statue. Laurel asks, "You think she enjoys our visits? Panel 5: As they continue walking Juniper looks back and says, "Yeah, I do." Panel 6: A close-up of the statue, smiling.

Take a moment to stop and enjoy the sights, even if you see them regularly. :)
