An expert sock knitter told me to start socks on wooden DPNs because they grip the yarn. That worked for me. As I became used to DPNs, I moved to steel - a bit faster. But your comfort zone is always #1. (And Iβve snapped wooden ones, too - frustrating as then you donβt have a full set!)

Might be time to move onto the steel ones. Just be careful where you put them and do NOT accidentally sit on them π
(been there, done that, got the tetanus shot)

It could be. Da Vinci used to do cartunas, which were preparatory sketches for a painting - then never did the painting. Some of these have that look (much as I can tell by zooming in) so yes, perhaps they couldnβt afford to have them all painted. What a lovely find!

I strongly recommend VeryPink Knits - she explains clearly and demonstrates a few times; Iβll set it up and knit along (pause, repeat) until Iβve got it. Sheβs the real deal

Fascinating! Were they meant to be painted - in some areas, there seems to be paint, while others seem to be sketches that werenβt painted at all. Iβd imagine it felt like an amazing discovery to see these!

PROUDLY CANADIAN
You can always trust that we'll be gentle on your skin. All our products have been, and will continue to be developed right at home here in Canada. Thanks for choosing us.
Iβve discovered Marcelle skin care products. I was using Nivea before (not American, but wanted to buy Canadian). Their skin care products are superior and at a lower price point. Here in BC, I get them at London Drugs. Never switching from Marcelle now!

She made it in a soft butter yellow cotton so she could wear it in the summer. It is lovely. Ranunculus is such a great pattern because it does allow for adaptation so well, plus itβs fun to make. And the holes in the design are small so you donβt need to wear a tank or tee underneath π

It can be subtle, too - wanting to control, criticize and dominate.
And Iβve learned that βI make a lot of moneyβ is code for βIβm going to control womenβ - I once a man say this while leaning back with a big grin; I heard this subtext and itβs still with me 20 years later

ICBC reports lots of MVAs around time changes.
It was started during WWI as a temporary measure to save coal so it could be used for the war. In my opinion, we are l-o-n-g past that

Iβm not an Adam Sandler fan - but I did see him in a serious role, a beautiful little film called Reign Over Me, co-starring Don Cheadle. Havenβt been able to forget it, or Sandlerβs performance - haunting

And there are so many layers of meaning to the story - layer upon layer, and that resonate with todayβs times. I wasnβt going to see it because I canβt do horror films, but my son encouraged me. So glad he did - brilliant film, excellent cast. Tip: watch to the very end of the credits
