The "residential protesting" bill is being sold as a response to protesters targeting the homes of specific people, despite its very broad language. But I had fun watching DFL reps gently poke at Walter Hudson for half an hour until he admitted his problem is with protesting in general.

Many lessons to take from Tuesday. I believe one should be that neither "side" is going away and we need to find a way to come together despite very real differences.

It's so frustrating to me that the State DFL refused to help fund the City Convention, forcing organizers to do their best with what they had. And now the richest people in (and outside) Minneapolis are willing to throw their money around to try to invalidate that convention

But he has a heart for justice like few I’ve ever seen. He is going to be a phenomenal Hennepin County Attorney.

The fact that a former party chair doesn't know who two of the most qualified parliamentarians in the state are should tell you something about how credible his opinions are on how the Minneapolis DFL operated at the convention.
