A LOT of industry folks need to take "I think there's a very high possibility that this is all a bunch of horseshit" to HEART.

I’m very very tired of “living in fear” being lobbed at maskwearers by people who frequently say they can’t wear one because no one else around them is.
Living in fear is ignoring science and endangering lives and your own health because you’re terrified of not fitting in.
The Nation pulls NO punches, from @espiers.bsky.social
"There's no requirement to take part in this whitewashing campaign. Refusing to join in doesn’t make anyone a bad person. It’s a choice to write an obituary that begins “Joseph Goebbels was a gifted marketer and loving father to six children.”
Don’t let this just be a moment. This is every bit as dire as the loss of Medicaid. People will die.

Ben Ryan adds: Enraged, journalist Walker Bragman issues followup comments about @PeteButtigieg’s remarks about trans girls in sports. “No, there’s no middle ground,” he says. “It’s human rights or discrimination.”
I said what I said.

Citizens’ Impeachment has long held that if just 5% of Americans contacted their members of Congress about impeachment, it would be the largest collective action of its kind in American history. It would almost certainly lead to his removal from office.

I think a lot about how COVID-19 was sold as an "individual responsibility," an approach which got over a million people killed but that the culture still accepted. Following that P.R. success, they're eager to say every illness is your fault.

It doesn’t matter if you’re given permission to do so by the highest authority in the land and by every person around you: Doing wrong is doing wrong.
#WearAnN95 & don’t spread COVID. It’s a dangerous virus with serious long term harms, & everyone is potentially vulnerable.
You can’t tell me you’d never end up in a cult if you’ve abandoned masking lol.
You are susceptible to misinformation too.
This National Public Health Week, I encourage fellow journalists to refer to the Covid-19 pandemic in the present tense. Sure, the government emergency in the US is over, but that means people can be forced to come into work while sick with Covid, which increases the risk of developing Long Covid.

Please ignore tired pieces in publications like the Atlantic that are still trying to stigmatize mask wearing.
Wearing a mask to prevent sickness from airborne viruses is a science-informed position, and it has been that way for over 100 years.
Just saw the video of Kristi Noem standing in front of the US government’s concentration camp and holy shit that is so blatantly a concentration camp.

The easiest way you can show solidarity right now is to wear a mask when you're doing your grocery shopping.
Seriously. You're protecting people around you and normalizing community care.
I wear a mask when I do my grocery shopping. Will you join me?
AI chatbots are still anti-thinking plagiarism machines that are wrong most of the time. I don’t care who uses them or says they’re great or thinks they’re our collective future. My future involves a lot of thinking, original work, and getting things right, so I have no use for them
