At the 4th African Assembly in Kampala, Dr. Ann Nelson, part of our leadership team, chaired an important session on mpox, sparking thoughtful discussion among lab professionals from across the region.

After a decorated career at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology, she’s helping expand our global community and strengthen health systems worldwide.

Meet Dr. Emily Glynn, President of Pathologists Overseas and Co-Director of our LIS Program. A hematopathologist at the University of Washington, she leads global initiatives from LIS implementation in Senegal to LQMS training across Latin America.
