She has always been trying to get me to re-up my game pass sub but I always thought that was just a coincidence

We did this 3 or 4 times and they came good the next day, because it was massively diluting the scent. You can also rub it all over Pan first, rub it on Echo (she will hate it, but she'll groom herself and realise it's not an Evil Scent), then do the rest.

I had this with some of my pets re: vet and scent! One thing that helped us a lot in speeding things up was grabbing a towel and scrub all over (in this case) Echo to get their scent, then all over household items they both play on, then rub it all over Pan.

Sidenote, having three pets in a house is wild. It's the craziest gamechanger. Today the dog stole the kittens food, after I caught the kitten stealing the cats food, and as I resolved dog stealing the kittens food, the kitten stole my partners meat pie. So.

Meeko used to be moving a lot with me as a young adult and often into multi-pet households, so she was super well adjusted, but I think having me to herself other than Nara (who came along seven years ago) has made her a grumpier old lady.

I'm sorry to hear about Cleo! It's so interesting how age/experience changes them! I think sometimes tolerating each other is the best we can hope for as owners haha. Meeko taught Nara a big lesson by swiping her a week in and Nara knew very quickly she was not gonna be the household boss haha.

I am impatient and want them to groom and love each other already. I know it takes time and hissing/growling are super normal, and the kitten is great at reading the cues and backing off, but I want them to get along already! How long did it take yours?

This is after a month of scent swapping (kitten was quarantined with ringworm), lots of love to both, separate spaces etc etc Anyone got any hot tips that helped move things along? Meeko was the same when Nara came home but adjusted to tolerate/mildly like her within a weekish.

Hilariously, Nara (dog) is now the cat manager of the household. She & the kitten get along because of insane playful energy, and she and Meeko have a very sweet almost-friendship - they get along but don't snuggle/playfight/hang out too much, but always check on each other if hurt etc.

Our new kitten and my beautiful thirteen year old cat Meeko are having a TIME getting along. Meeko hasn't touched a hair on her head or chased her or anything aggressive, but the hisses and growls are consistent if kitten comes remotely close.

Sort of like BeReal, but with complete strangers, and you get a little timeline of your life. Automated self portraits and if you miss it, you miss it, which I really like. The little black squares I get in their place tell me I'm touching grass.

The internet is fun because it's made it possible for me to share a picture with a random stranger through an app called minutiae, only to get one returned of the top of a toilet from someone in Quarry Bay in Hong Kong because it's clearly caught them right at their bathroom break. Humanity!

It's that classic ITYSL thing of me being like 'that was fine' and then by the time I've watched it two more times I'm like 'that is the funniest thing I've ever seen in my life'
