Right wing people claiming the label “Christian” literally do not share a common belief or understanding about scripture we share. I know you know this. I am no longer surprised by anything they promote as “Christian”‘which clearly, is not.

But not necessarily wrong.

If the administration reads the poem attached to the Statue of Liberty, I’m betting Lady Liberty will be deported.

Imagine if your town, your county, was invaded, bombed. Imagine trying to shield your babies from being blown apart. Imagine having this conversation. It’s staggering to realize this kind of cold, heartless, cruelty is being carried out in the name of we the people. I can barely stand to read this 💔

This is so important. We the people MUST show up! You showing up matters. Go to School Board, city Council, county board of supervisors, library board, any authority group gathering, you show up too! Be ready to say, “That’s not true here’s the truth…” We change hearts & minds one truth at a time!

Attend every single local event where anything of substance might be discussed - library board, School Board, city Council, county board of supervisors, representative’s Townhall meetings - and be prepared to say: “Here is the truth…” We the people HAVE to show up. They. Work. For. Us. 🇺🇸

Best friends of my parents refused the polio vaccine for their 3 children. My father begged them to vaccinate those children (who were playmates of ours) and they refused. All three got polio. All three…..😔

Is this ok? Is this freedom of the press? Sure, he owns it. But will that mean #washingtonpost is simply his personal enews letter? This is not ok.

You have to be a pretty severe kind of broken to criminalize helping people.

Just heard from a friend who is a true hero veteran. His company was destroyed in 30 days by the VA when they canceled 5 contracts without notice. 23 Americans mostly veterans out of work and a veteran owned small business destroyed. For nothing. They're dismantling the VA not "reforming" it.

It’s like a scammer who just said, “Oh, whatever. I’m here! Same scam! Let’s do this!”

It’s simply not true. This did not happen. Saying something does not and will not change the facts. Shame on Congress for allowing this nightmare to grow….and grow….and…grow.

We only know this man is in Gitmo because Noem tweeted a propaganda photo that included him and his sister saw it. He has no criminal record. He entered the US in January and immediately made an appointment with CBP to claim asylum. They sent him to a concentration camp bc of his basketball tattoo.

How do we respond to criminals? We name them in the public square, for one. Say it. Speak it. Everywhere. In the grocery check out, “Wow, crazy stuff…did you see…?” At the dr office, “Turn off Fox, it cause heart palpitations..” At the gym, “Can you believe….?” Relentlessly speak up. ⚡️💥⚡️

If you can, seriously consider running for office. Any office will do. Step up. It’s not easy. It is scary. So what? This is, too! Writing letters is good. Emails are fine. Calls are better. But politics trickles up, as well as down. We are, literally, boots on the ground! Showing up is huge!
