"Well, of course we understand humanity. Most of us are just pessimists. Our lot tend to see the bad parts of them and upstairs tend to see the good parts. But really, humanity is more complex than that, they're a complicated mix of good and bad."

"Who would have thought it, huh?"

"It definitely is. The best feeling."

*She nods.*

"Yes, as am I. I don't think I could be happier."

"Yep, but things swing a certain way and who knows if we could have the happiness we have now if we didn't go through all that."

"I know exactly what you mean... Some things you wish you could forget, but are just lodged in there too deeply..."

"Perhaps, but I wonder sometimes. It's silly, of course. What does it matter when it was such a long time ago? FurFur tells me I never noticed him before we fell because he was just an errand Angel. I guess I must've been more important than him back then."

"I have no idea. I don't even know what Lucifer might have said to convince me to join the rebellion or if I volunteered myself. Who knows and who cares? It was such a long time ago."

"Hm, I don't know. FurFur says we never spoke before because I was more important than him or something which only makes me more intrigued."

"That just makes me wonder why it's so selective."

"Well, FurFur remembers fighting alongside Crowley, but Crowley couldn't even remember him from back then. Me? I can't recall a single thing from before the fall. My first vivid memory is the fall itself..."

"Technically, I can't actually remember the War or really anything before then. FurFur is one of the few who seems to remember bits and pieces."

"We're? Alright then, tell me about the War or the first fall."

"Oi!"

"Hm, vintage. That's a good word. Improves with age like a good vintage wine."

"I like that, well seasoned."

"They're both great kids, well adults, but... They're kids to us."

*She smiles warmly.*

"I have complete faith in her. She's definitely the brains of the family."

*She smiles.*

"Bel will be fine. Miracle hasn't been complaining at the pies he keeps asking us to try."

"And 'Day has an interview at Cambridge university at the end of this month. It's not long until she gets her exam results back now. I have complete faith she'll nail it. She's so bright."

*She smiles, always proud talking about any of her children.*

"I'm sure he'll be alright."

"Yeah, I know. We're very proud of her though, of both of them, how far they've come. Bel's been doing better lately with the bar and I'm glad to hear he's going to propose to Dean next month. He wanted my advice, but he had the basics down. Varney is going to go ring shopping with him."

"Yes, but you know what mortals are like. We can't have her eyes changing colour in front of them based on her mood. As for her truth telling ability, that's trickier to hide."

"I'm gonna try and use a concealment miracle for when she goes to uni this October though. I might need a hand. I'm used to concealing horns and tails rather than mood changing eyes."

"Well, that's not common. I've never seen them change colours like 'Day's do. Hers is an unusual ability."

"I only have wings because of my stork. Also, claws? Lucky. I do have a gail though and horns, yes. I think only lust Demons have glowing eyes or part lust Demons like the twins."

"You're unusual in that respect. I don't know any other Demon without an animal true form. Fangs, I'm not so sure about. I don't go around the 9 circles asking who has fangs or not."

"No, of course not. Storks don't have fangs, silly."

"Well, I'm glad I kept them. I thought like my prophetic dreams and random sernades, they'd go after she was born."

"Heh, we don't lack excitement in the bedroom, never have done. Since I was pregnant with Miracle, the tables have turned."

*She grins, deliberately flashing her fangs to him.*
