What should be our response to the bombing of Iran? Increasingly I feel isolated on Bluesky. Few of my friends post; few others comment. But if we're going to see the world clearly and respond to events effectively, that will be best undertaken together. So, how should we, the people, proceed?

Tonight, we're attacking Iran to disrupt their nuclear program.

Waiting. A common human experience and it can feel helpless, frustrating, as it does now. We wait for a handful of GOP reps and about 18 GOP senators to grow backbones, to impeach and remove the orange Mussolini. But we the people will not wait forever. It's our right and duty to remove tyrants.

He must not be allowed to openly defy a SCOTUS ruling. Congress must impeach and remove this despot. If they do not, then we the people must. #remove47 #nokings #orange #demagogue

It's a win, but if Trump ignores it, someone must hold him to account. If not Congress, then the American people will need to remove him for trampling the Constitution and acting as a tyrant. We're not obligated to let this country fall into despotism.

Probably not since that would increase the chance of a general revolt. Maybe he thinks he can get Congress to pass a law enabling him to control tariffs. That seems to me not to have much prospect of success. But who knows what other nonsense his people are cooking up.

That thought crossed my mind, too. Awaiting developments with great interest.

Browser's Bookstore downtown has some used books though mostly new. They only trade for store credit. It's a good store but I'd like a teleport link to Recycled Books in Campbell.

Sold a few books and donated a bunch the bookstore didn't want to the public library for their fundraising sales. That's today's achievement. The rest is routine-- cooking, tidying, fighting fascism.

Nixon was forced out after more than two years of Watergate. Credit goes to a bunch of investigative journalists, GOP lawmakers who put country over party, and a presidential aide who revealed the White House taping system when asked in Senate testimony. We're missing some of those ingredients.

Those we want to keep are dying, and those who we hope will exit are staying. I think there's a psalm about this. Will check.
