I don't want to but I take it if he presents me with one and I don't sign it that will be taken as an act of hostility which would have its own set of consequences

Definitely a bit messy though because my dad is saying he wants to look into trying to get me to sign a contract saying I'm responsible for them (which I would be willing to be if he doesn't threaten my survival)

The bigger thing is I really need to be able to live with my parents post college to be able to pay off my student debts to a non crippling degree. Technically if my parents kick me out, a lot of those loans are in my dad's name so I could just say I wouldn't pay it.

Depends on a lot of factors tbh. I will keep this in the back of my mind because I'm kinda in the process of reaching out and getting a lot of different support networks set up in case the worst happens, but I think most likely I'd have people here to be with temporarily if it came down to it.
