So concerned that they didn't bother contacting the Election staff until after the poll closed? Never heard of this organisation. Who funds it? And why are they given access to polling stations? In my days running Polling Stations only voters, the police and the candidate agents were allowed in.

Yes I feel fine thanks. It had been about 15 hours since the first doses so not as worrying as taking double very close together. But as the BP tablets act as a diuretic to keep the levels stable it means more loo trips!!

Quite. We usually had a max of 6 ballot booths per station and often people were queuing. We'd staff the busy stations with an extra Poll Clerk to supervise the queues and the booths. My current station in a village hall has just two cardboard cut out booths on top of tables. No queue ever. Bliss 😅

Our son didn't like chocolate as a child and it took his elderly relatives a while to get the message so we'd end up eating the Easter eggs 😅 He used to get one of the Tank engine models instead. I can eat any amount of chocolate at other times of the day but mornings seem wrong to eat it 😂

I'm sure it must be. It seems to have been a long cold dark winter and when you haven't got good health anyway it really drags you down. At least now it's lighter in the mornings and evenings and we have occasional warm days it does lighten the mood. Take care x

Well the people down here in Suffolk are pretty convinced they're using the bases here. Plenty of activity overhead from their aircraft in and out. Is that just a coincidence?

Happy Birthday Eleanor. I've now surpassed that age and can't quite believe it. Used to think it was so old when my parents were it 😅 Mind you when my knees hurt and I can't do what I used to be able to I know I'm no longer a spring chicken! Still good to be here enjoying life. Have a good day.

Morning. Not sure even me, a chocoholic, can face dark chocolate for breakfast 😂 Bit of a damp morning here though not raining atm. Got all the Parish mags delivered yesterday so no tasks today beyond usual Sunday chores like putting bin out. Such an exciting life! Will get on with knitting and TV.

This is straight out of Trump's playbook. We have strict laws about who can vote and polling staff receive hours of training and the Presiding Officers will be experienced in running a polling station. They know more than that jumped up little racist.

After my aunt died after years of dementia I felt obliged to write to people in her address book to let them know. Not an easy task as hard to decifer as scrawled over with her shaky hand. I did have some nice letters back from some grateful I'd let them know. Old neighbour sent me photos of them.

Well I'm glad I voted Green at the GE and got a Green MP. Will never vote for Labour again while it's so far removed from the Party it was set up to be.

We've got our annual Parish wide litter pick next month though a number of us pick up on our regular walks. Got worse over the years as people just chuck food/drink waste out of cars. Farmers have permanent skips as people dump in fields and drainage ditches rather than go to the tip 🤬
