I get so annoyed when ppl paint northern mi as a hick monolith. yeah there's def those kinds of people but everyone moving in here is some rich retiree buying their 4th home on the lake. there's also plenty of totally normal ppl. ppl have overwhelmingly been cool with my trans ass over the years.
