My boy sleeping like he done worked a 12 hour shift today.. fucking little shit, I love him.

Tonight's dinner: homemade chicken and rice soup along with cooked plantains served on the side. This was some work, good lord, going to need some more practice with this one.

Cooking dinner. Tonight's menu:

Rice
Chick peas
Scalloped potatoes
Fried eggs (Optional)

Just to fill the meat portion of the dinner. Yea its early, I'm not doing this later tonight so I'm doing it while I have the time now and can eat it later on.

Sitting in this 15°F weather, smoking a blunt and having a clear thought moment. Things are beginning to look up with the family. I probably lost like 10% of my sanity and -50HP to my life meter, but it's good.

Another dinner tonight. Chicken was store bought but made the rice and beans. Was a hit with the family. Think I'm getting the hang of this cooking thing.

It was free so I had to take it. The time can be greatly improved Im sure, but I can say I am/was a WR holder.

11/21/24: Lovely fall day... except it's f*kin cold. I forgot what that felt like for a moment there... but I love it.

Starting to learn to cook again from my elder cousin and guided me through tonight's dinner. This is my 3rd dinner that I've made for the family. Rice, beans, and smoked pork chop w/ onions, green and red peppers in a seasoned tomato sauce.

Also just pulled off this beauty of a blunder. This is what happens when you're greedy for lives....

Before sundown... Grey from a rainy day yet calming. While not my favorite weather, it's something about this that just feels right.

Happy to live in a state where weed is legal because holy fuck today was crazy. Spent 500 bucks total to get my car towed from the impound lot. Need a new starter, brakes, and lord knows what else. Can someone just give me 75K?? I'm not greedy. I just need for shit to stop breaking down on me!!!

Well, mom is able to go up and downstairs now, making great progress from her back surgery 6 weeks ago.

Only problem? She did this behind my back. It wasn't until I heard her talking to the dog that I went to check and opened the door to see her after 17 steps.

I have many feelings going at once.

Early morning walk with the boy

Absolutely beautiful game from beginning to end. My main complaint... I wish the framerate was more stable. Love the creativity with the echoes. The music is beautiful, love the overworld theme with Zelda's song from OoT. And wasn't even difficult either to complete. Love this one.

*yawn* did I miss anything interesting??? Life has been f*cking me up the @$$ this year and I need it to be 2025 already.

Family medical shit, family drama, unexpected back surgery for my mother and being the one to have to do it all is tiring.

After 3+ months, surgery to repair kneecap & ACL, breaking his fibula after said surgery two weeks later, another 3 weeks of recovery, losing my damn mind, spending more money on this f*cker than I like to admit, and a groom later, my boy is ready for Christmas!

It's been a long week... but relative is home from the hospital after 5 days and will be getting in touch w/ my inner kid with SMRPG remake in a bit. Life is all right at the moment.

Small break from work. At least it looks nice out. Not excited about having to clean up the leaves but that's what the weekend is for... assuming my body doesn't break by sneezing or something.

You know you're getting old when you sneeze, and your damn lower back goes out on you and gives you some of the worst pain to deal with. When life hands you 🍋, throw that shit back, aim for the crotch.
