Y'all just don't appreciate good storytelling that forces you to think for more than two seconds, and analyze the words, actions, and motivations of a character in order to learn something authentic and valuable about them as a person and character—

6) Is to blame for every unfortunate Salem-related event (Pyrrha and Amber dying, Fall of Atlas, etc).

I recommend giving 'The Girl in the Tower' and 'The Infinite Man' a read. They do a great job of further reiterating the fact that Oz is a genuinely good yet broken person who only ever fights for others and is willing to suffer if it means protecting the people around him.

His story is so tragic—

—for themselves to the point of even blaming him for things that were never actually his fault to begin with.

It's actually insane how many people fail to understand literally anything about his character despite multiple reiterations across 8+ volumes lmao
