I love it that you can ride from Denver to Clear Creek Canyon completely on trails without having to go on any roads.

New Huntsman Gulch 3 mile extension is opening soon! And it’s ADA accessible!

When an entire political party goes with a platform of "mercy is stupid, caring about other people is unmanly, we MUST rule with malice and cruelty"..?
All while claiming to be religious and Christian?
what fools would vote for it?
Why?
"to own the libs" will end up on a lot of tombstones.

We were promised peace through strength and we got wars from incompetence.

I don't think I've ever felt more like burning it all down than I have while witnessing the elite project to turn Zohran Mamdani and Brad Lander into scary, incompetent monsters while turning an actual incompetent monster, Andrew Cuomo, into a merely complicated fellow who just made an oopsie.

An Afghan man who worked as a translator for the U.S. military during the war was detained by ICE after showing up for a hearing inside of a federal courthouse in San Diego, his attorney says. He fears that if he returns to Afghanistan, he would be tortured or even killed, @nbcsandiego.com reports.

Trump leaves the g7 summit early... if it were Biden, the media would say he was tired and needs to rest because he's old... Trump is declining and he's a danger to this country's safety.

Just want to point out that when Jessica Ramos endorsed Andrew Cuomo, he made a point of saying he is not endorsing her. In contrast, Zohran Mamdani and Michael Blake are cross-endorsing. I just think this speaks to how Mamdani and Cuomo act as politicians and as people.

Tina Smith on Mike Lee: "I went to him and I said, 'Your message on social media showed the image of the man who killed my friend ... and your message is, this is what happens? You need to take responsibility and accountability ...' And I wanted him to hear that from me directly."

"We are devastated and heartbroken at the loss of our parents, Melissa and Mark. They were the bright lights at the center of our lives, and we can't believe they are gone. Their love for us was boundless. We miss them so much.
"We want everyone to know that we are both safe and with loved ones. We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support we have received, and we appreciate your respect for our family's privacy as we grieve.
"Our family would like to thank law enforcement for their swift action that saved others and for the coordination across communities that led to the arrest of the man who murdered our parents. We especially would like to thank the officers who were first on the scene to our parents' home and their heroic attempts to rescue our mom and dad.
"Our parents touched so many lives, and they leave behind an incredible legacy of dedication to their community that will live on in us, their friends, their colleagues and co-workers, and every single person who knew and loved them.
"If you would like to honor the memory of Mark and Melissa, please consider the following:
β€’ Plant a tree.
β€’ Visit a local park and make use of their amenities, especially a bike trail.
β€’ Pet a dog. A golden retriever is ideal, but any will do.
β€’ Tell your loved ones a cheesy dad joke and laugh about it.
β€’ Bake something β€” bread for Mark or a cake for Melissa, and share it with someone.
β€’ Try a new hobby and enjoy learning something.
β€’ Stand up for what you believe in, especially if that thing is justice and peace.
"Hope and resilience are the enemy of fear. Our parents lived their lives with immense dedication to their fellow humans. This tragedy must become a moment for us to come together. Hold your loved ones a little closer. Love your neighbors. Treat each other with kindness and respect. The best way to honor our parents' memory is to do something, whether big or small, to make our community just a little better for someone else."

It is part of a last minute Stop Zohran campaign, full stop. Recall that the Times was going to stop local endorsements.

We lamented that! It was critical for normie libs who didn’t follow NY politics and could elevate candidates like Kathryn Garcia. Stopping made many NYers harder to reach. (2/5)

I don’t like to swear. And I have many friends at the New York Times, who I love.

But with all my heart: fuck the @nytimes.com editorial board for their idiotic, tortured, uniformed, fear-mongering, mealy-mouthed, bullshit mayor’s race op-ed.

First, let’s talk politics. What’s it doing? (1/5)
