one thing GZDoom adds over the vanilla Doom engine is the ability to look up and down, giving you the unprecedented power to shoot yourself in the foot github.com/ZDoom/gzdoom...

Just to reiterate on here, I'll probably throw my hat into the ring and not release before UZD releases. This feels like a fresh start and I'd like to contribute to it.

For anyone out of the loop - GZDoom had an exodus of pretty much all their developers because reasons I will not go into. And now they branched into UZdoom: github.com/UZDoom/UZDoom

Go use it! It's ran by awesome people, has a lot of awesome features, with many more to come.

Major evolution in the GZDoom community tonight - the regular contributors finally had enough of the project lead, who had been very hard to work with for a long time. He dug in and told them "If you don't like it, go and make your own fork."
