Yes I was helping people delete their accounts by sharing a link to the delete page. He removed the delete button.

He also made up a story about how I am part of a conspiracy via a competing product.

Our product is an English learning voice based app.

His own screenshot debunks the claim.

The request is a HEAD request from a service called dataminr, which is a Twitter partner.

People on Twitter were sharing the delete link, which is what dataminr ingested.

You're believing what a scammer says uncritically.

It's probably because twitter is blowing up about it currently

I understood blurry to mean unclear whereas it seems from the context here you are using it to mean dubious and possibly unscrupulous

He most recently made a fictitious account for a security company and verified it, then they threatened legal action via tweet.
