A wet wood pigeon wrapped in a woolen coat. Only the pigeons chest and head is showing out of the coat. His eyes are half open.

This pigeon was clipped by a car and left stunned in the road so I ran into the road and wrapped him in my coat to protect him from the rain. I took him to the nearest house of someone I knew and dried him and watched him recover. Today this pigeon saved me, not the other way round. My soul healed.🧡

I am so excited to be queer af in Montreal all week. Where I live is so Conservative and hateful so it's very rare I get to engage with other queer people in person. Next week I'll be surrounded by angels in the place I've felt safest in! ☺️
