After decades of service and battle, Alexei proved himself to the Captain and was then made a Primaris along with becoming part of the Reavers. Alexei now mainly targets Chaos Cultists and Eldari Priestesses.

Alexei went under the genetic modification and trials to become an Astartes. It was clear that Alexei's favorite tool to use in training was his combat knife. It was here where he gained the attention of a Captain among the Ravenguard Reavers.

The first ones to respond to that call were the Ravenguard. After two weeks, they pushed the Eldar off world. In that time, Alexei was taken in by a Ravenguard Sergeant named Fyodor.

"I used to think that Astartes never had a fate other than war. That only would be the case if one became Chapter Master." He said as he rubbed the back of his neck and slowly rotated his shoulder. "Is it fine if we begin tomorrow?"

He listened to her, and had a glimpse of hope in his eyes. "When can we start?" He asked her softly as he sat up straight, his mood seeming more at ease.

"What other purpose is there for Astartes? Much less a Reiver like me?" He asked her as he glanced in her direction. "I was never trained as a poet or artist like the other chapters.. my art is with my knife and bolters."

He sighed in slight defeat and almost embarrassment. "I'm not used to the peace.. My Chapter, they had me always try to sharpen my skills to a finer point than it already was." He explained as he looked at the rain continuing to come down.

"Very well." He said almost begrudgingly as he sat beside the Primarch while listening to her play her instrument. He wanted to speak, but did not want to interrupt the lovely sound of her music.

Alexei came upon Gregor trying to put his cast together. "Need some help there?" He would ask politely as he looked down at the man.

Alexei watched as the rain fell, thinking how it was similar to his homeworld. "I've never seen it rain so heavily on a world like this... Especially one that I wasn't fighting on."
