In 5th was Juan Carlos Hidalgo, a former analyst at the Cato Institute. He was candidate of the "old establishment conservative" PUSC, and his fragmented support seems to show that. It's possible supportive local politicians got some cantons to support him, in one case almost 4x his national support

in 4th was Deputy Ariel Robles of the Democratic Socialist FA. His support was distributed similarly to Dobles, with his best canton, Montes de Oca, giving him more than double his national support. That canton is also the only one to vote FA in the legislative election!

in 3rd place was Former First Lady Claudia Dobles of the social democratic PAC, in coalition with two smaller parties to form the CAC. Her support was much more pronounced in the eastern part of San Jose, where she reached over double her national support in some areas.

Costa Rica held elections on the 1st, where right-wing populist PPSO candidate, Fmr. Minister Laura Fernandez, won over center-ish establishment PLN's Fmr. Soc. Security Admin. Alvaro Ramos and an assortment of smaller candidates. Here's a map I did showing the results by canton with ~97% in.
