Nice! I read the first book in the SSR series about a million years ago, I remember enjoying it but losing touch with Harrison. I should climb back aboard that bandwagon.

RU-EN technical translator, literary wannabe. Left-leaning military vet, voracious reader, socially conscious, happily woke. Fed with 45 years of service dedicated to upholding the Constitution. I invite those who support fascism to fuck right off.

I was particularly impressed with Sotto Voce’s A SCARRED DRIFTER; and that Spring Kissmet anthology included many delightful stories.
There is so much talent in the Indie Author community. If you’ve never picked up an Indie book, I recommend giving it a shot. 😊

The amazing thing about my reading is that I'm foolish enough to do it that way in the first place. I like to have smaller books around to keep me fresh from the denser material (I'm talking to you, James Joyce), and it often takes a while to get any of them completed.
I love Vonnegut. Great book!
Time to cleanse the palate. Here's what I'm currently reading right now. In order: audio book, bedstand epub, physical book (my first re-read of this classic since I was, oh, a lad of 22 or so), and language maintenance.
What are you guys reading these days?
Any comment from the "support the troops" crowd? 🙄
