Have you check the individual replacement ones too? As the pairs have been sold out for awhile but the singles were still being sold and it's how I got my new right one.

Best thing I'll say is my original index controllers lasted me since 2020, and only my right one the stick broke. So I'd you really love them it might be worth just buying a new pair before there all gone.

It could be but they are a much smaller company than even valve so if they did it could probably take awhile to come to market.

In the ltt video they mentioned valve states the index is eol, but that they are open to partners contacting them to potentially keep producing components for it. Whether or not that happens though is another story. The one bright side is htc is still making the base stations I believe.
