“Yeah, I’m use to structure…men taking orders..salutes you don’t seem like that kind of type.” He smirked sort of coming out of his shell “You definitely peaked my interest.”

“Well you peaked my interest, you’re load and extroverted, you don’t shy away from people….” He motioned to him joining his table “Plus that out fit looks amazing on you.”

“Sorry…I can work on solders on a battle field, issue orders and cut open a man…but I have a hard time talking to strangers.” He sighed “Actually…I was kind of watching you while you were talking to that other guy.”

“Uh army…” he looked up at him “I’m sorry…I’m boring you aren’t I?” He sighed “You don’t have to stay here.”

“I work as a doctor for the military, I’m not much of a fighter but I know how to patch up a wound.”

He looks over the boy examining him up and down “So what do you do?”

“I do…” he said softly “I don’t often mingle among other people.” He stirred his drink

“Uh huh….do you just randomly come up and talk to strangers?” He adjusted his glasses

“Patroclus…aren’t you like on a date?” Pulling his own drink close to him

He looks up from his drink with brow raised “uh….no?” Tilting his head “I’ve been here for like an hour.”

“Good…” kisses his forehead

“No..no,m” he shook his head “Well not intentionally…”

“Oh good…” he let out a sigh of relief

“Your brother isn’t around is he? I don’t want to interrupt anything.”

“Yes both Achilles and I did, he is an excellent teacher.”

“I enjoy it really, I learned a lot about plants while with Chiron.”

“If youll allow me I’d love to fix this up.”

“Oh I will, if I’m being honest the Gardner is doing a poor job.”

“I enjoy sleeping out side, reminds me of my childhood.”

“Then we aren’t tossing out our clothes” he leans in close to him

“No but then you’ll have to deal with me complaining.” He teased

“Not how that works handsome.” Pats his face

“And then what are you gonna do when we have to go out, can’t have your bits hanging out.”

“I didn’t say that” he shook his head “Don’t go burning your clothes.” He walks over to him

“Of course you don’t…not that I’m complaining either.” Snaps another picture

He sits on a rock by the river, harvesting some herbs. He picks a few and sticks them into a bag attached to his hip.

“Patroclus” he raised his hands “I fought alongside Achilles and Odysseus in the Trojan war.”

“Easy easy….i didn’t mean any harm…I’ll leave.

“Ow! I said I was sleeping! I thought it was public property.” He grabs the end of the broom “Stop hitting me.”
