Expo SDK 54 will support the new .icon format from iOS 26!

Just tested it on the latest canary, works great.
I made the icon with SnapAI (transparent background), dropped it into Icon Composer, and boom 💥
Instantly got a clean, modern icon that also works on older iOS versions.

💡idea: Onboarding Screens as a Service

Think: plug-and-play onboarding flows you can drop into your app in seconds

Developers just run a CLI, pick a flow (email sign-up, permissions walkthrough, product tour, etc.), and instantly get a beautiful, customizable onboarding experience, ready to go

There are a few bugs 🐛 I want to fix. Haha, I’ll try to timebox it for next weekend.

This weekend I’m working on my @livestore.dev course, focusing on multi-store support — like what you see in apps such as Linear: multiple workspaces per user, real-time updates, and the ability to share workspaces with others.

Me, watching everyone try Grok 4 after I spent all my money on Claude Code, and Cursor.

They should just work, some APIs rely on expo modules core, which comes from the expo package, updating expo should just work. (Including new arch)

The fact that you can stay in the comfort of @expo.dev and still write a custom native module when you need to? That's freedom.
