27.07.2025 21:52 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Expo SDK 54 will support the new .icon format from iOS 26!
Just tested it on the latest canary, works great.
I made the icon with SnapAI (transparent background), dropped it into Icon Composer, and boom π₯
Instantly got a clean, modern icon that also works on older iOS versions.
π‘idea: Onboarding Screens as a Service
Think: plug-and-play onboarding flows you can drop into your app in seconds
Developers just run a CLI, pick a flow (email sign-up, permissions walkthrough, product tour, etc.), and instantly get a beautiful, customizable onboarding experience, ready to go
There are a few bugs π I want to fix. Haha, Iβll try to timebox it for next weekend.

Your CI builds are wasting time.
You donβt need a full native build every time you run tests.

Why Iβm Bullish on React Native

Lifeβs too short to rebuild your app every time
Use @expo.dev Repack to skip the native build and save time.
It reuses an existing build and injects new metadata + JS bundle β‘π¦

This is a great Beto-vid about Expo Modules - check it out π
Sometimes you just need native code.
With custom Expo modules, you can write Swift/Kotlin and stay in the Expo workflow.
