I’m spoiled by #gunpla being pretty bulletproof- this kit ended up looking good but only because I spent two weeks on it. It’s got some good shelf presence but I can’t say I recommend it, even if it costs half of what a Bandai kit would.

The hands took 2 hours and the skin from two of my fingers to get snapped together- at least they look pretty cool!

The Steel Dragon aka “Godzilla Gundam” detailed and done!
This kit was a land of contrasts- good plastic quality and mostly good design ideas (that they ripped off from Nakamura8) but sloppy molding, TERRIBLE fitting, misnumbered parts in the instructions, armor clashes that block articulation- etc

Usually just a loop of painters tape stuck to the back of the print or to a plastic sleeve, looped around some of the mesh- I can usually keep it nice enough to re-use, though the artist I booth with usually just alligator-clips them and assumes it’ll last for a few cons

Okay this might be a WILDLY optimistic called shot, but I feel like tonight might be a stream to finish the godzilla gundam! We just have panel lining, accessories, and whatever custom stuff I still have patience for after the first two!

But I already HAVE one of those that just doesn’t have comm’d art yet!
Though considering I have a model with only one toggle that changes it from irritated to displeased, it’d be fair to have edgy dark version and OTHER edgy dark version

This Uno Miku (in the lower right) was the one that did it. I looked at that design so much over TwitchCon I finally thought “wait… why DON’T I have black sclera?”

I finally had nerds gummy clusters.
I used to eat nerds rope and figured they’d be the same thing. They aren’t.

I loved Legends Arceus so I was hoping this would have the bones of that plus a little more solid battle mechanics and it seems like that’s more or less what we got, but with a lot more main-line pokemon game mechanics being brought along.

Finally got Pokemon ‘za and played a few hours. Fun so far, but I kinda wish it was structured a little differently- it feels like I’m hitting an invisible wall every three steps and mechanics are getting introduced SO slowly as I get dragged along an extended tutorial.

STREAM OVER! I had planned to make the arms and maybe one of the hands... well we finished them BOTH! We conquered FINGER HELL except now I can't feel any of MY fingers.
