I'm more the type of RPG fan who likes pre-existing characters as the cast instead of building your own but the satisfaction of mapping out floor after floor of large labyrinths by hand is worth the sacrifice for me. There's a decent amount of Etrian callbacks in Metaphor and I hope I got them all.

Okay but the fact that there is a very clear section dedicated to Etrian Odyssey gives it an extra special spot in my heart.

Switch 1, 2, Playdate and 3DS! But 50/50 chance I'll lose power and end up reading books or manga instead.

I just beat it yesterday too! First Trails game for me. I was holding my head, yelling at a certain character and crying at the end! Can't wait for 2nd Chapter! Hopefully it releases sooner than the predicted September deadline.

Honestly, one of my goals this year is less doomscrolling and more games. Sometimes I find myself just reading people's reactions to the news for hours, time that could've been spent eating into decades worth of backlogged games. Plus, I really need that boost in positivity in JRPGs.

Nice! I am an unfortunately busy adult and really taking my time playing Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter, my first Trails game. Loving it so far and hopefully the longer it takes me to finish it, the less painful the wait is for 2nd!

That was all I could do since I don't have premium anyway. I only used it for podcasts once every few months.

My husband and I have an aversion to "I can't imagine what you're going through" now. I hear it as, "what you're feeling is so beyond anything I've experienced that I'm not going to try". I'm sure it's just because it's a common repeated phrase and it's not what they mean but we don't like it.

Last year, October 15 was just a normal day for me. This year, I know it's Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. I'm sorry for everyone who has to experience this. It's so painful but we're not alone in this grief.

I made the mistake of deciding I wanted the game for PS5 too late. I ordered it on Best Buy the day before it came out, for store pick-up. It says there's a delay. Even if I wanted to go to a different Best Buy, the soonest I could get it is the 24th in a different state!

I now have the vinyl, CDs and monolith set coming early next year. They know their fans well.

I only have read the first two volumes of Secrets of the Silent Witch but I love the first episode of the anime adaptation so far. Great animation for sure, with all the magic. Monica deserves all the good things!

Sometimes I just wanna read my fics during my break. And people are either talking about work or socializing. I gotta start bringing big headphones again to get the message across.

I didn't want to specify ships because there are people who prefer no romance but...yes. For me, discovering new ships for sure. 🚢

That's when you accidentally find another fandom and devour all the fics from that for the next three months.

There's a lot I'm looking forward to this season but this was one of the big ones. Thanks, Netflix...

I've been excited for Expedition 33 ever since it was revealed and somehow every aspect of the game itself blew my expectations out of the water. My husband and I love it so much. As the one review said, it's a generational game. You all deserve all the awards! Give Monoco a treat for his work too!

Picked up our #Switch2 less than 20 minutes after midnight at our local Best Buy, along with a pro controller and Rune Factory Guardians of Azuma. Too bad I have to go to work tomorrow and even earlier than usual. Yay working 13 hours instead of trying out our new Nintendo Switch 2!

I have finally beaten THAT post-game boss. Achievements for them and final journal entry were all worth it. Clair Obscur Expedition 33 really one of the best games I've ever played in all aspects.

I have quite the backlog but I need to do New Game Plus for the story again. Tomorrow comes. 🎭🤺🖌️🏆

Seriously, why did they stop making console versions of DDR? That would be the game that is most likely to get me off the couch and do some actual exercise!

I wish I had a chance to just not work and catch up on the games I want. I can't work from home and even during Covid, I was working like normal. I am perfectly okay if there are less games coming out that I'm interested in.
