In one of the most irresponsible presidential press conferences in history, Donald Trump declares that Tylenol during pregnancy cause autism. Again, apparently, mothers are to blame.
This is the most anti-science thing I have watched today.
What is most shocking about this is all of these statements are being made without any scientific evidence to back it up.
There are very few safe options to treat pain and fever in pregnancy so this is also an attack on women's health.
"No vaccine was tested more extensively than the RNA vaccines, and no vaccine was given to more people than the mRNA vaccines, & they were found to be incredibly safe...and effective. They saved 20 million lives, & they stopped a pandemic that was shutting down the world."
-Drew Weissman
In her latest op-ed for @usnews.com, AAP President Dr. Susan J. Kressly discusses how HHSโ decisions on vaccines - along with recent CDC firings - are putting our childrenโs health at risk.

Over the past 50 years, vaccines have saved millions of lives & reduced the infant mortality rate by 40%.
Vaccines save lives โ period.

We were right then and are right now. Vaccines don't *cause* variants. Rather, massive numbers of infections in people with no or waning immunity do.
Evolution is no reason to avoid vaccination.
