DRI are the first to be recognised as having standing to bring cases on behalf of wronged data subjects.

This allowed women who are victims of revenge porn to seek accountability, while maintaining their privacy.

Women's Strike 2023 - KVENNAVERKFALL On October 24th, 1975, women all over Iceland left work to demonstrate the importance of women’s contribution to society. This day was popularly called “kvennafrí”, or Women’s Day Off.

Women of Iceland are striking for a whole day on Oct 24th. The demands of the strike are equal pay and eradication of gendered violence. I just got an email saying my kids school will be closed, as so many of the teachers are women.
My husband will have to figure it out, as I will be striking too 💪
