I get pencils, stickers, and rings from the dollar store. It also lets me keep leftovers from year to year.

Every Easter we would make baskets to take to my grandparents' church. Coffee, sugar, etc. Baskets were placed at the end of rows. Priest would flick water and bless as he walked up and down the aisle. Then we'd take home to put with the rest of their coffee, sugar.

We used to get their Morning Blend store brand coffee in the big tin as our standard go-to. The last time we got it, it was $7.49. Now the price, for 25.4 oz, is $13.49. ☕

A couple of regular online gaming sessions a week, where we play 3+ games, helps.

I've been playing a lot of strange and/or traditional trick-takers, and Euro games have always been my bread-and-butter. Agricola, Clans of Caledonia, etc.

👋 Also 6b here (NY). I wanted options for fresh vegetables year-round, and so I learned to sprout. It only takes a pie-plate-sized spot on your counter, and only water to rinse the seeds a few times a day. I have this sprouting tray:

I learned to grow sprouts a few months ago, because I wasn't sure what the produce situation would be like. It's a handy little skill. It might be the thing we start teaching each other, like bread-making was during C19.

Spinach for everybody. It has Vitamin C and a bunch of other things.

I like the one-and-done Tudor version of showing I have too much money: attach extra boards to the outside of my house.
