10.11.2025 15:51 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Itโs also not true on either sideโฆ If the right really โdidnโt careโ about Trans peopleโฆ they would shut the fuck about themโฆ
09.11.2025 20:43 โ ๐ 5 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0He doesn't mind being seen as "the villain". Since he retired from being a baseball exec, he's kind of been on that path where he doesn't care how people feel about him.
I actually kind of liked Sampson until I saw that doc. He came off totally unlikeable outside of a few moments.
I don't think people are shocked that Bieber signed with the Jays. People are shocked that he used his $16M player option to do it. He could've declined that option, and the Blue Jays would've happily paid more for him to return, as they've shown the willingness to spend consistently.
06.11.2025 05:04 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0The NHL getting rid of the โpuck firstโ rule continues to suck.
06.11.2025 02:09 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I don't think this is as unexpected as people believe. I know everyone assumes a player is going to cash in as soon as he gets a chance.
In Bieber's case, as good as he is, coming off injury, one season at full health on a good team. It puts him in a great spot to make Max Fried money in 2027.
People only want it with the hindsight of it working out. If it doesn't work out perfectly, it's bad management.
That's the rule. Pay your players what they're worth, but if it doesn't result in team success, it's a bad use of resources.
I wouldn't be so sure. Bieber is as good as it gets. Even if he's leaving some money on the table, a full healthy season heading into free agency a year from now puts him squarely in $200M - $250M territory
05.11.2025 17:20 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0charging people for public safety is fucking insane.
05.11.2025 17:15 โ ๐ 7 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0The only battle is making sure they don't get in their own way, and just let the voters decide.
Endorse who is making traction publicly. There doesn't have to be a hard and fast "direction" of the party. Get the votes you need.
The direction of the party is irrelevant if you lose.
Imagine adding a lefty with elite stuff to a Rotation that already has Bieber, Gausman, and Yesavage.
Leaves room for a pair of long men in the bullpen. Lauer from the left and Francis from the right... If he's healthy.
You still have Sandlin, Varland, Hoffman in leverage. That's a hell of a team.
It will cost you both Loperfido and Lukes probably. Tucker being a lefty, will eat up all the OF ABs for those two guys.
I'm not against Tucker. I just think the Jays are better off using their resources to beef up their rotation. I would love to see them swing for Ranger Suarez or Framber Valdez
No you don't. Tony, if healthy, will hit you 35-40 HRs with power almost equally for both sides of the plate. If you thought the Jays offense was scary before, add a switch hitting 40 HR threat in the middle and see how teams try to figure out how to matchup relievers between him and Vladdy.
05.11.2025 16:58 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0So does Gleyber Torres. I like him as a fit defensively better than Bregman, since Bregman doesn't seem all that interested in playing 2nd base.
05.11.2025 16:53 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0how on earth do they fit Tucker into an outfield/DH that already features Lukes, Loperfido, Varsho, Straw, Schneider, Santander, Springer, and Barger potentially?
Sign Bo to play 2nd base, or I might turn to Gleyber Torres if Bo signs elsewhere.
I would love to see Ranger Suarez in a Jays uni.
I bet he is taking the option to go out and pitch a full season with a good team, and then really cash in. He's definitely left money on the table, but a full season at full health for him could easily get him into Max Fried territory in terms of contract value.

16.09.2025 17:32 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I lowkey like this for the Avs actually. His style of game could fit really well with the NHL teamโฆ especially if heโs given some run with the LOC injury.
04.07.2025 16:59 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Itโs just looking around the league at other comparable players who have signed in the last year or two. Itโs not exactly rocket science.
Hockeycomparables.com had his projected contract right in the wheelhouse where he signed.
Theyโre going to have toโฆ though I do wonder if a Manson trade is in the cards now now that Burns is on the team. Makar, Burns, Malinski, Mansonโฆ the right side on D is pretty crowded.
03.07.2025 18:34 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0They traded Coyle because of their specific cap situation. Not because heโs overpaid commensurate to the market overallโฆ They wonโt be trading Colton now.
Fact remains that, Suter was not overpaid based on the market for Cs. And, he wouldโve been a perfect fit for the Avs given their needs.
I support this. Middle of the 8th, like โSweet Carolineโ at Fenway.
03.07.2025 10:19 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Has Charlie Coyle been overpaid? Only one 25 goal seasonโฆ more of a 3C than a 2Cโฆ. Heโs been at $5.25M from long before the cap increased.
Ross Colton has never scored 25 goals. $4M? No problem.
Suter is not overpaid, especially on a short 2 year deal.
On the other hand, 23 of his 25 goals game at 5 on 5. One of the other two was a short handed goal.
Not filling the stat sheet on the PP.
Either way, heโs a bargain under $5M. And he would slide right into the spot that was held by Charlie Coyle.
Lol overpaid? 25 goals, 200 ft 2nd line centre for under $5Mโฆ

02.07.2025 22:09 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Frankly, Iโd rather just get a Necas extension done and use the $7.75M to add some real depthโฆ which is why I liked Suter.
Maybe some of Roslovic, Beauvilier, Sprong, Kiviranta, Vesey, Olofssonโฆ not sure where they go on defense.
Theyโre going to need more than $7.75M for himโฆ maybe they sign him and trade Necas
