Central KY congressional candidate drops out, will run for state representative “Over the past several weeks, it has become clear to me that my work in Frankfort isn’t finished,” the candidate wrote.

GOP state rep Deanna Gordon is suspending her campaign for KY-06, the Central KY-based seat held by Rep. Andy Barr.

That leaves 3 Republicans in the running to replace Barr, who is vying for US Senate.
