The statement is that the 49ers are a team although severely depleted by injuries can still play with determination and grit and beat their biggest rival at their house. The 49ers had no realistic expectation to win that game but they did and that must be demoralizing to the Rams.

The ball was punched out so good defense really. The missed extra point ended up as a non factor. 49ers defense gave up a lot of passing yards but came up clutch in short yardage situations twice. Great win, epic win but 49ers need a better pass rush. I hope they can make a trade to address that.
