i always employed the "pay what u want, but here's a minimum price" system because i don't like to charge a lot for my work. but i get so tired.... ghh

tbh my biggest ai giveaway is when it overuses the phrasing "it's not x, it's y" or anything similar. i read an article recently and immediately knew it was ai just from the first paragraph because of this 😭

tl;dr i think saying something highkey absurd can break someone's self-hatred cycle and i think that's beautiful

also the phrase "you don't need to-" is still like a passive statement that implies "You can, but it's not required" and still allows room for the apology to happen

saying "I don't need it" is an active "I don't want it" and it's so much more clear.

(at least with me) i get so worried about whether or not *i'm* doing something wrong, so in someone re-contextualizing this in a way where it focuses on themselves and their view on my action instead of my view on my action, it's like.... (head explodes)

a friend telling me the words "i don't need a sorry" instead of "you don't need to say sorry" genuinely made me see what was wrong with my habit of over-apologizing. Maybe people need to be saying this more.
