it will only need a few checks to verify everything's working properly, maybe a prereading or two, and then it can be written into a full scene

Le concept du deck de ghoulwenn m'anéantit genre c littéralement eldlich the golden lord va au resto et commande un burger

i actually want to make it my strength, that i have both knowledge of the actual game, up to date with current meta (well, let's say last year's meta, but i'm studying newer decks), and can write kinda good (at least i want to believe i can)
because my story, in part, is for yugioh players

obviously mtg and ygo are two different games, and in addition, "destroy all of humanity" doesn't show entire turns and duels most of the time, which i could do from time to time too, but isn't the main way i want to do things, but still i think it does prove that it's completely possible

one of my main inspirations for this kind of duels is going to be "destroy all of humanity, it can't be regenerated", a magic the gathering manga that i have to strongly recommend, where the players do play actual meta decks over magic's history and it never hurts the pace of narration

"modern yugioh is maladapted to the narration of good duel choreography" my mission is to prove that this isn't true
obviously not every duel in akopy will be meta mirror matches, but i do want to show duels with players using good cards where the combo lines don't come at the cost of the narrative

Mauld's deck being strong and having really accessible ressources that lead to really goof power plays means choreography of her duels will be a lot tougher, which is good because im meant to struggle to keep her balanced compared to the other characters
