Shortly after Xmas I started feeling shitty. Fever, fierce coughing jags. I chalked it up to the flu. Then I lost my sense of smell and taste. Covid. It's brutal. The breathing. I can't catch air. My biggest 2024 regret is not getting a booster. If you haven't, get boosted. You matter to me.

I know a number of teachers who had enough time in to leave. When covid came around, those same teachers are the ones who came back to sub when things got hard and subs were scarce. I remember M4L claiming they would get emergency sub licenses during covid. None did.

Well, a Dane County judge just struck down Act 10, restoring collective bargaining rights in Wisconsin. This will be appealed, but should it stand, Scott Walkers legacy just went down the pooper. Yay!
