Lately I have felt so germy about things, so my bright idea of the evening was to take home all my manipulatives, legos, building blocks... and give them a good cleaning 🧼

It was WELL needed, I will post pictures tomorrow of everything clean and laid out before I start to organize them into bins!

First day moving things into my room!

I didn't know that could be such a workout, and then not feel like anything got done... 😵‍💫

Slowly but surely, I have a week left before I need to have it all set up to go!

I FINALLY got to sign my contract today! When I was student teaching, someone said to me "Don't be shocked if no one hires you, they don't like new teachers"

To my surprise, they were SO WRONG! My school loves that I am a first-year teacher, and has been SO supportive of me 🤍

As someone who doesn't like to ask for help, creating a wishlist was difficult.

I can't believe they're going to be Fourth Graders this year! I just know they're gonna rock it 🥳

I miss my Student Teaching kiddos SO bad! Not to brag, but I swear they were the best students ever.

I was lucky enough to bond so well with all of them, and create a wonderful student-teacher relationship! Thanks to these kiddos, I gained my confidence as a teacher.
