Thanks for sharing. And yes I totally agree. My initial thought in response to this point was to say, "Well is it fair that you contribute more tax than a billionaire?" But this would mean Labour taking on business interests and Im not sure that's what they want to do.

Hello Dave, I think def an issue in seats in and around the city centre of Liverpool but not so much in Knowsley, but yes I do think that's a another part of the story about Labour' demise in Merseyside. Something I should def look into more.

I wish I could have used the entire interview, but word count and editors had other ideas haha! You were both a joy to chat with.

Taylor Lorenz is the best journalist on this and her take is a) it's not substantively different to Meta etc and anyway those companies sell user data all over the world anyway b) it's politically motivated by Republicans who don't like the popular left leaning app / SV who don't want competition

Yes, I didn't include that point in the piece but it is a big one! Ideally people should be able to move around without being penalised. Also we should build more mixed use housing that includes some suitable for older people.

Really shocking research. Do you know why rents have risen so high? I assume there are increased mortgage/maintenance costs for landlords but are some using inflation for cover for price rises?

The Bluey extended instrumental we used to soothe a fussy baby during a road trip has really ruined my husband's algorithm haha

Nice! I visited this week and love Lindsey Mendick (she some cool stuff about the hell of domesticity at the Hayward a while back), but yes you're right it was a bit jumpy thematically and didn't dive into structure.
