Or if you want something a little different (and I love the way you do different in your vignettes and dioramas), then you could do it in the colours of the UN in Bosnia. Pics of Warriors from 1st Bn, The Devonshire and Dorset Regiment (finest Reg’t in the British Army! 😉) in Bosnia, 1995.

Also, don’t forgot that dry mud on highlights will look lighter than in shadows. A common mistake is just painting one colour of dirt all over without thinking how it relates to the light. Using AK Ultra Matt varnish as a thinner will keep the weathering dead Matt too. Hope this helps.

Nicely done. Weathering can be done with oils or with acrylic washes using thinner (I do the latter). See pic below. Although US (and a colourised photo) note where the mud is and how it has dried. Rather like a veh, there will be more dry mud but maybe wetter and darker patches on boots, knees etc.

This one was cold cast, as have the 1/35 figures I’ve bought off them previously, but not sure if newer stuff is 3D printed.

And she evidently knows the curls on her A’s better than this Aussie! 😂😂
